The discipline behind the strategies
The system only works if the rules are followed exactly. The biggest threats to long-term profitability are not bad picks, they are emotional decisions.
- No chasing losses. A losing day means a losing day. Stake stays at 5%.
- No doubling up. Ever. Even after a multi-loss streak.
- No "feeling it" picks. If the system doesn't generate a pick, no bet.
- No skipping picks. The system stays the system, especially when you're scared.
- Track everything. Wins, losses, drawdowns. Cherry-picking is self-deception.
What can go wrong
Being honest about the risks:
- Variance. An 80% winrate still means 20% losses. Losing streaks of 3 to 5 bets happen.
- Drawdowns. Every strategy has bad weeks. The system survives them, emotion does not.
- Bookmaker limits. Consistent winners get limited or banned. This is a structural constraint at scale.
- Market shifts. Edges erode as markets become more efficient. Strategies need to evolve.
